All my friends are getting married! Christen is another wonderful friend that I met one of my first days of college. Christen was a Criminal Justice major and met her fiancé Andrew in one of her CJ classes at SSU. The two recently bought a condo and adopted an adorable pup named Baxter. The next big step? Andrew popping the question of course! Andrew proposed atop a mountain in NH on a weekend away in August. We planned for a gorgeous foliage filled session at the end of October. The only problem? We live in New England! Only two short weeks after an 80 degree proposal on the beach, it was snowing. We continued on with our plans and luckily most of the snow melted away leaving behind warm foliage.
I met Cheyenne the first week of college way back in 2012. It wasn't long after that when I met her high school sweetheart, Jerry. Cheyenne and Jerry celebrated their 10 year anniversary this past February with a little extra bling... They chose to do an autumn engagement session in anticipation of the September 2021 wedding. I can't wait to see what the future holds for my dear friends.
My friend Dom texted me earlier this week asking if I was free on Saturday to take some photos. He then broke the news that he was planning on proposing to his girlfriend Adriana! It turned out to be a GORGEOUS day; 80 degrees in the middle of October. The golden hour glow was straight out of a fairytale and the off shore breeze was prime for my positioning. Even though it was a warm day, it was mid October in New England so the amount of people on the beach was limited which made it hard to hide in plain sight. I was so nervous that I would be spotted! I camped out a few yards away from some neighbors and waited for Dom and Adriana's arrival. Luckily,. Dom and Adriana went left where I went right. When they came out onto the beach I jumped up and did my best inconspicuous power walk across the beach. I made it to the prime position just in time. The rest is history...
My friends got engaged! And did a 'tour de Boston' to celebrate! A sunny 80 degree evening in the middle of a cold wet spring -what more could we have asked for?! This past December Chris popped the question on a bench in Boston Public Garden to which *spoiler alert* Elizebeth said YES! I was so thrilled when Elizabeth popped the question to me and asked me to photograph their engagement session! We started our session at Boston Public Gardens and hopped around a few different spots, including the bench. Elizabeth even got to borrow a stranger's puppy for a few shots! After that, we made our way over to Beacon Hill and eventually wrapped up the session at the Seaport. Elizabeth and Chris were naturals, so I had the difficult job of trying to narrow down the best of the best. Check em out below!
